We are delighted to launch our participation in the Ultra Challenges Halloween Walk that starts and finishes at The Oval on Saturday 28th October 2023. You can choose either a 10km or 25km route with a start time between 2pm and 3pm.
Why not treat yourself to a hair-raising hike around some of the City’s scary streets and historic haunts? Choose your distance, gather your bravest guys & ghouls to make up a team – or go it alone if you dare and meet up with other chilling challengers. Dress to distress, and our creepy dungeon keepers at The Oval start & finish will meet, greet & shock. Once you escape there will be ghostly looped routes, with zombie rest stops, and if you manage to get back in one piece there’s a macabre medal, a glass of the Devil’s fizz, and some horrific hot food & drink!
It promises to be a fun event and we are encouraging participants to enter the spirit of the event and walk in spooky fancy dress! Join a great fun event, do yourself a power of good on a hike and raise some money for the Rainy Day Trust too. The more money you raise the more prizes we will give you! The entry fee is £60 for the 25km walk and £25 for the 10km one.
