The Rainy Day Trust is here to help those who have fallen on hard times, we support people who have worked in or apprentices entering the the home improvement and enhancement industries. Please note that ‘home improvement‘ is classified as work that is related to the domestic residential housing market, not commercial such as offices or hotels, or road building or bridges.
There are a number of ways we can help, whether you currently work or have worked within any of the following industries. We’re here, because you can’t always do it yourself…
We help those (and the partners of) people who have worked in the worlds of builders’ merchants, DIY, hardware, potteries and glass, housewares and garden centres. This also includes the manufacture of products sold in these sectors. We also help professional tradespeople such as plumbers, carpenters, electricians and so on as well as their apprentices or trainees. Find more information on each below.
Eligibility criteria:
We help past and present employees of the home improvement industry, including tradesmen, who are struggling financially plus apprentices entering the home improvement industry. Don’t suffer alone, let The Rainy Day Trust help make those ends meet.
